Family Promise
Immanuel CRC is one of eleven churches in the greater Modesto area who is committed to helping homeless families achieve independence. We host families at church for a week about four times a year. Our volunteers provide the evening meal, breakfast, and a sack lunch each day. Our guest families spend the day at the Center in Modesto finding housing, work, and other needs they have.
Immanuel has been involved with this ministry for 5 years and it is coordinated by Carol Postma and Laura Kissee.
