Women in the Word
Psalm 119:24 – “Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.”
Our desire is to provide tools to study God’s Word and as we study to develop a deeper relationship with the One who has made us, loves us, and calls us by name. He gives us a guide for daily living in His Word. As we study and learn from Him, we pray that His Word will increasingly become our delight and our counsel.
For some us who have never studied the Bible before or very little, how exciting it is as we open up God’s Word and discover truths and principles for ourselves that apply to our specific situation. For those of us who have studied the Bible and have been exposed to its marvelous truths all our life, how exciting this is as we discover new truths and principles that apply to our specific situations. God meets us in His Word just where we are and it is a constant growing process!
So far this past year (2009/2010), we have met on Tuesday evenings and used study material which has included workbooks and DVD’s by gifted teachers and leaders, and we have learned much. For three weeks in April and May, we will use our Bible, pen, and paper and a three-question method of study and discover new tools for discovery into God’s Word.
