Ministerial Staff

Senior Pastor

Patrick has served as the senior pastor of Immanuel Christian Reformed Church since September of 2021. Patrick graduated in 2013 with an M.Div. from Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA. He completed the Ecclesiastical Program for Ministerial Candidates through Calvin Seminary in 2017 when he first became ordained in the Christian Reformed Church. Patrick considers it a great privilege to serve the saints of Immanuel CRC motivated by his love for Christ and God’s Word. When Patrick and his wife, Anne, aren’t busy raising their five children, you can find him spending time with friends, reading a good book, or keeping up with the northern California sports scene.

Patrick Anthony

Worship Pastor

JP was born and raised in Brazil, where he spent most of his adult life and married his lovely wife Fernanda. They have three kids and a dog, except for the dog part. By God’s good providence, he had pastors over the years that invested in his life training him up to do the work of the ministry. He was exposed to reformed theology throughout most of his church life while being given the opportunity to work in worship ministry as a volunteer for 15 years. In March 2023, he and his family came to Ripon to serve Immanuel CRC as Worship Pastor, and he loves doing so as a way of loving God’s people and being part of Christ’s advancement of His kingdom. He loves barbecues, music, extemporaneous dad jokes, people having their eyes opened by the Holy Scriptures and a good debate, not exactly in that order.

JP Trabbold

Youth Director

Corey arrived at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in April of 2023. In August of 2022, He graduated from Liberty University with a bachelor's degree in English and Writing. In the future, he aspires to attend seminary and earn an M.Div. Corey is excited to see the Lord at work in the lives of our young people through the ministry of the Word. In his downtime, he enjoys fishing California's lakes and streams, reading works of theology and fiction, and spending time with family and friends.
